Walmart Chronicles: From “Too Big to Sue” to Maybe “Too Big to Manage”?

Walmart d/b/a Sam’s Clubs  recently settled a hostile work environment case with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for $440,000.   While unrelated to Walmart’s recent Supreme Court case that asks whether Walmart is too big to be sued in a gender discrimination class action lawsuit, what sticks out in this case is that it took Walmart 8 months to respond to employee complaints of harassment.  For more of my thoughts on this case, click here.
